5 Small spools of 80wt cotton thread. Each small spool contains approx 280 metres / 300 yards of 2 ply 100% Egyptian cotton, showcased on a beautiful cherry wood spool. 

This essential pack includes 5 of the most popular and useful colours.

Colours included; 2000 Light Sand - 2021 Natural White - 2370 Sandstone - 2615 Aluminium - 2625 Artic Ice.

Such a thin thread is perfect for a variety of techniques, including English paper piecing, hand applique, machine embroidery, machine applique, free motion quilting, free motion couching and more.

Needle recommendations

• 70/10 or 80/12 Microtex/Sharp or Embroidery needle (80wt in the bobbin)
• Straw, Sharps or Applique No 10 or 11 hand sewing needle

Tips for hand sewing; use a short length of thread, around 12"-18" long, to reduce tangling or breaking.
